EASY ACAI BOWLS

Açaí bowls are perfect as: a snack, breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert if you'd like!


You can obviously use whatever ingredients you'd like but the main ingredient that differentiates it from a smoothie bowl is the açai berry. I've used different forms of the açai berry such as: açai powder and frozen açai, however I've never actually used the berry in its natural form because I've never found it at the grocery store here (in Italy).



For the açai frozen mix I used :

- a whole frozen banana

- a handful of mixed frozen strawberries and raspberries

- 4oz coconut milk

- fresh pineapple slices

- a spoonful of açai powder


On top I put :

- granola

- fresh fruit such as : mango, pineapple, strawberries and raspberries

- honey


Side note :

- you can use milk or opt for yogurt

- the consistency should be very thick almost like a milkshake if it's not your desired thickness you can always add more frozen bananas and if you'd like it to be thinner you should add more liquid
